You accept this sales contract with Automotive Wheels Ltd trading as snowchainsandsocks.co.uk. The name Automotive Wheels Ltd will appear on your payment card statement. 

All prices include VAT.

All products are subject to availability. 

All offers and promotions are subject to availability. 

You must ensure you order the correct parts using our search facility or the tyre sizes listings given for each product. We will dispatch the goods that you have ordered, we do not collect the details of the search that you made.

All images are for illustration purposes only and products may vary from that shown.

Our website is strictly for use with our customers, suppliers and authorised parties.

All products must be test fitted before full use. Whilst we supply chains or socks to fit your tyre size, we are unable to guarantee arch clearance on your specific car. Therefore we recommend that you try the chain on and check the fitting and clearance is ok before use in snow conditions. Automotive Wheels Ltd do not accept any liability in damages to your vehicle or to the purchased item caused by ill-fitting parts which are used without testing.

It is the responsibility of the fitter to ensure that the chains/socks are fitted correctly before driving on them. Any damage or costs incurred through damage caused by poor fitting or negligent use will not be the responsibility of Automotive Wheels Ltd or any of its trading names.

Delivery Terms:

Delivery is free of charge next working day if the product is in stock and subject to: Mainland UK deliveries (excluding some highland and remote locations), ordered before 3pm, subject to availability. For items that are not in stock we suggest delivery will be 2-3 days however please allow up to 10 working days for delivery. We are unable to guarantee delivery days and time slots, we use thrid party couriers, we do not guarantee next day delivery. We accept no liability for any losses for any reason as a result of a courier delay. We never recommend waiting in for a parcel, we allow you to send to alternative addresses where a delivery can be received all day.

Returns:

Damage to chains or socks caused by miss-use will not be exchanged to refunded. Please note that chains or socks are not indestructible. Spinning wheels with chains fitted, overuse on non snow/ice surfaces and incorrect fitting (including under & over tightening) may all cause the chains to break, chains are supplied with extra chain links because chain may need repairing from damage caused by the above mentioned scenarios, any chain used on the cars, vans and 4x4 can only be so thick due to fitting and clearance reasons. 

Unused products can be returned to us within 14 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange. Products and packaging must be in the same good condition that they were supplied in. Please quote your name, address and order number and the new product required for exchange or request to refund in with your order and ideally inform us before they are returned. Please note that goods that have been taken on a trip abroad are considered used and non returnable. Returns made outside of this time may not be accepted or subject to a administration fee.

Return shipping costs must always be paid by the customer and we recommend to be sent using a service that requires a signature, we can only refund or replace your order if we receive it.

If you believe your item to be faulty, contact us prior to returning the goods quoting your name and order number and a description of the fault. We may require digital images, or for you to send the goods back for inspection. No goods that are returned without prior contact will be accepted, and goods that have been mis-used as outlined in the 1st paragraph in the returns section above will not be considered.

Ill fitting items should be identified within 30 days of receipt of an order (a digital image highlighting the problem). Please contact us before you return any items. 

All socks or chains purchased should be trial fitted before any trip or event of snow as we are unable to replace or refund items if not in the UK or Ireland or in adverse weather conditions there may be delays.
